Sodam Hong (홍소담) is a Vancouver based Korean-Canadian Director.

Branching off of her experiences, Sodam focuses on implementing meaningful environments in her storytelling techniques. Her approach to conceptualizing stories has allowed her to flourish in directing short films, music videos and commercials.

Inspired by youth culture and alternative identities, her work underlines underrepresented communities.

“I grew up surrounded by media and found it as a source of comfort. With honesty and intention, I want to use film as a tool for communicating powerful and vulnerable feelings or experiences.”
